Notebooks 1967-70 by Lee Lozano

A collection of works by American artist Lee Lozano.

Lozano is a mysterious artist who has produced diverse paintings and conceptual works. Although he was prolific, his time was limited to the early 1960s and early 1970s, when he lived in New York. Although she worked actively with other artists in New York City until she decided to leave the art world in 1972, she remained in the public eye until recently for much of her work. could hardly do. During the 30 years since she boycotted the art world until her death, Lozano did not actively participate in the commercial art world, but she was consistently engaged in conceptual activities.

This book is a compilation of three notebooks written by Lozano between 1967 and 1970, including the highly influential series "Language Pieces" and his representative work "Language Pieces" consisting of 11 panels. Contains drawings for paintings, including 12 studies for the Wave Series. Also included are notes and sketches related to her abstract paintings, and you can also see her text known as Language Pieces. Lozano treated each page of her notebook as a drawing, which was sometimes separated from the notebook and exhibited. Twenty-five years ago, the notebook was duplicated on a photocopier, which became the basis for this book.
