A collection of works by Norwegian photographer Line Bøhmer Løkken.

Sandaker Videregående Skol was designed in 1959 by architect Finn Bryn. After five years of construction, the Sandakel School was one of the largest and most expensive schools in Norway at the time. With its architectural style and progressive teaching model, the school is considered the city's crowning achievement. Under the policy of "a school for everyone", we have continuously provided education that focuses on each student, regardless of social and pedagogical background.
As of 2009, when this book was published, there were approximately 100 employees and nearly 600 students in educational programs for professional occupations and university entrance, and students with hearing impairments and learning disabilities. We offer special educational programs for Sixty-five percent of the students are linguistic minorities, and few Norwegian high schools had such a diverse student body.

In 2012, the city of Oslo passed a bill to turn the entire school into an elementary school, and the students of our school will move to a new school in the Nydalen district, along with the students of Graefsen High School. Although the Sandakel School was closed as a result, its architectural style and attitude of social involvement will continue to be passed down through this book.
