A collection of works by Belgian artist Michaël Borremans.

This book was published in conjunction with a solo exhibition held in 2009 at the art gallery Kestnergesellschaft in Hannover. Borremans' images, paintings, and drawings overwhelm the viewer with inflection, precision, and swirling centripetal force. The work contains timeless images of the latent and external pressures that inevitably accompany human existence. He deliberately inserts mistakes and whimsy into a perfectly constructed style, creating deviations from common methods of interpretation and meaning.
