(Signed) A Narrow Scene of Hypothetical Circumstances by Sveinn Fannar Jóhannsson
A collection of works by Oslo-based artist Sveinn Fannar Jóhannsson.
This book is a collection of works published in 2011 by Rotom Contemporary, an art gallery in Oslo, and includes a number of ready-made works using furniture and installation views. The furniture has been rearranged, cut/disassembled, or placed in an exquisite balance. The furniture, which has lost its original function and has become an object, is sometimes sad, and sometimes it seems to be alive in a new role. Johansson has published many artist books under the name of "Multinational Enterprises" and has a strong impression of an artist using photographs and texts, but from this book, which is an early publication, the artist continues to pursue it to this day. You can once again feel the theme and the charm of the writer who always remembers humor.
