Yukihito Kono

A collection of self-published works by Japanese photographer Yukihito Kono.

This book contains photographs taken at a warehouse party (a club event held in a huge warehouse) held in Amsterdam. Moving away from the premise that the camera/photographing act is an extension of the human body, Kohno used the powerful flash and the digital camera's optical zoom to the maximum to shoot without looking through the viewfinder in the pitch-black venue. Several years have passed since the photograph was taken without particularly looking back at it, and Kono discovered these images from his own archives, but they are different from Kono's visual experiences and memories as "visual memory of the camera = record". These photographs, in which the image of the artist was left as data, appeared in front of Kono as a sight that he had never seen before. In this book, I am trying to create a new image again by binding while changing the way of assembling the image.

Limited to 100 copies. Signed by the author. Bookbinding by rearranging the order of pages in increments of 5 copies.
