Trial And Error by Reinis Lismanis

A collection of works by London-based Latvian artist Reinis Lismanis.

This book contains works, photographs, videos, and installations created by the author over the course of six years. Lithmanis has explored the traditional systems behind the creation of photography, its processes and methods. In a self-reflective way, his work acknowledges and challenges conventional structures of image generation, exhibition display systems, and art-making in general. The publication provides a comprehensive overview of the artist's recent work, with images ranging from snapshots in his studio to photographs taken during his travels to various cities around the world. It is produced in a non-hierarchical way, combining the materials of the previous exhibition.
