Photographs by Jack Davison
*Restock
A collection of works by British artist Jack Davison.
This book is a series of the results of experiments using images that Davison has been producing continuously since 2007. The self-taught photographer follows his intuition and natural instincts in the same way that a painter paints a picture, and takes photographs that unearth the surreal and sensual things buried in everyday life. Images of hands and eyes appear repeatedly in his works, such as a clenched fist, a hand stroking his face, an eye glaring at him from inside a billboard, and an eye shining through a mirror. It symbolizes a powerful tension on the boundary between perception and imagination.
