Everything Passes by Isabel Garcés & Ramón Reverté

Editorial RM

This book contains photographs of people walking along Calle Junin, the most famous thoroughfare of Medellín, Colombia's second city. These photos were taken by photographers on the street from the 1950s to the 1970s for the purpose of selling them to passers-by, and were taken by an unspecified number of people. 400 photographs were collected.

Looking at the clothing and behavior of people in those days made me realize that culture itself is not something that arises singularly, but that it is always deeply connected to a specific place.
