(Mint) A Song For Windows by Takashi Homma
A collection of works by Japanese photographer Takashi Homma.
Haru, yksin?isten saari (Haru, the Island of the Solitary), a documentary released in 1998, moved Takashi Homma from his hometown of Tokyo to the Pelinki Islands in Finland. Go on a journey to the remote island "Klovharu". There he documented the pristine island and the cottage where Finnish author Tove Jansson (author of the children's book Moomin) spent nearly a quarter of a century with his illustrator partner Tuulikki Pietilä. Through the author's curious lens and the generosity he brings to architecture and space, the reader is exposed to the solitude and humble life of hidden Scandinavian islands, their cultural heritage, and the writer's writings and characters for all generations. Witness the impact it has on This book is a tribute to Tove Jansson (1914-2001) and all the text is taken from Tove Jansson's The Summer Book (1972), which consists of 22 independent chapters. "
