July 16, 1945, 5:30 am. The first atomic bomb in human history was tested in Alamogordo, New Mexico, USA. Known as the father of the atomic bomb, Julius Robert Oppenheimer, the leader of the Manhattan Project, a program to develop and manufacture atomic bombs by the United States, Great Britain, and Canada, created a weapon that could easily wipe out mankind. Before and after the development of , he said that we had become different entities, and that he bitterly regretted developing it for the rest of his life.

Mortarotti and Hamzehien travel to the birthplace of Alamogordo to investigate the real impact of the development and testing of the atomic bomb. .
