The Well by Nigel Shafran
*Restock
The tenth photobook by British photographer Nigel Shafran.
For Shafran, who has been actively working in London fashion and culture magazines since the mid-1980s like other innovative photographers such as Juergen Teller, Corrine Day, and David Sims, the magazine space has been a place of unexpected creativity, subversive criticism, and distorted opinions.
The magazine was a place of unexpected creativity, subversive criticism, and skewed opinions. This book is Shafran's tenth collection of work and the first to cover the commercial photography he has worked on for almost 30 years. But it is not simply a catalog of past work, as he has teamed up again with Linda van Deursen, who edited his 2016 book "Dark Rooms," a collection of his work that until now has been distinguished from his commercial work as work only. This book is an attempt to connect commercial work and personal work.
