Taka Ishii Gallery

A collection of photographs by American photographer Larry Clark.

This book is Clark's maiden work, published in 1971, and is a Japanese reprint published in conjunction with an exhibition held at Taka Ishii Gallery. It is a historical masterpiece of a photographer who had a great influence on photographers in the 2000s, including Ryan McGinley.

"I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1943. I took my first amphetamine shot at 16, and for three years I threw up my buddies. Then one day I left town. It's come back. Once it's stuck, it never comes off."Larry Clark
