A collection of works by French visual artist Noémie Goudal.

This book is the latest in Gudal's ongoing large-scale photographic project related to the history of science and major geological theories. The project is a scientific reinterpretation of how the Earth formed, starting with archaeological discoveries that revealed the presence of fossils on a mountaintop. By installing 30 mirrors, each photograph forms a landscape that ignores the viewer's gaze and imagination. This book consists not only of a booklet of photographs, but also of a series of photographs and a separate booklet of theoretical texts, an archive of scientific illustrations, and an image documenting the artist's point of view.
