Stabs At Academia With Painters Tools by Ryan Gander

A collection of works by British artist Ryan Gander.

This book is based on the vintage classic version of "A Traveler on a Winter Night" (1979) by Italian national novelist Italo Calvino. . The novel was reconstructed using the font "Set in Stone", conceived by Gander and created by Adrien Vasquez of "John Morgan Studio". The font was designed based on stones collected by Gander's children on the beach near their home, and Gander painted over the finished book using calligraphic inks and brushes.

1000 copies were produced, 500 of which were distributed free of charge to libraries, hospitals, hotels, lighthouses, waiting rooms and prisons.
