Jane & Jeremy

An artist book by British photographer Véronique Laurent.

The title of this work, ``54°0'13.176''N 2°32'52.278''W'', assumes that the British islands are fixed to the mainland at precise positions by invisible wires. These are the coordinates indicating the center position when The most remote part of the Bowland Forest in Lancashire, designated as one of the Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, features heather-covered peat bogs, ancient It consists of forests, rugged coarse-grained sandstone plateaus, and rivers that run between them. By capturing the essence of this isolated place through film and fieldwork-based artist books, this project seeks to create new perspectives on cartography, landscape, and the spirituality of the British and the British Isles in contemporary notions of sublime. I'm throwing a dialogue.

Limited edition of 106, signed and numbered by the artist.
