(Signed) Compost Pictures 2008 – 2009 by Nigel Shafran

This zine-like publication was published in conjunction with Nigel Shafran's solo exhibition "Compost Pictures" held at the art center Charleston" located in East Sussex, England, in 2010.

Shafran has used his home as the location for his work in the past quite often, and in this work, he focused on food waste placed in a composting bowl in the corner of the kitchen. The result was seen in the picture as a unique composition of vegetables and kitchen utensils arranged like a sculpture or installation.
