Rocken spent several days hiking in a remote area of ​​Norway's Jotunheim National Park, photographing glaciers darkened by a mixture of mountains, rocks, snow, and gravel. If landscapes are not objects of photographic beauty, what are they? Rocken focuses on the physical knowledge and endurance that rock engraves, that is, the material record that is influenced by the environment and transforms independently. Her book contains photographs taken intuitively to reflect the artist's visual experiences and emotions when encountering sublime, monotonous, alien and desolate landscapes.
