It Was Dark That Night And We Made It Through The Woods By Touch by Rie SUZUKI
A collection of works by Japanese photographer Rie Suzuki.
This book was produced in conjunction with the solo exhibition held at the curated space "NN" in Kanazawa from November 6th to November 28th, 2021.
Suzuki has created works and zines inspired by fantasy and sci-fi movies, but in this work, by taking a composition like a collection of five stories in one volume, Fragmentary landscapes that have been glimpsed and hidden in the background of the work so far are connected to become a vast world that spreads before the reader's eyes. Based on the concept of "overlapping reality and fantasy", a bookmark-like lenticular card that changes the pattern depending on the viewing angle is included. Photographer Yukihito Kawano is in charge of editing.
First edition 300 copies.
