The Gould Collection Volume 2 by Saul Leiter & Paul Auster
This is the second in a series of works that have been produced since 2016 in memory of French photobook collector Chistophe Crison, who passed away in 2015.
This book presents 58 photographs, including unpublished works, taken between 1947 and 1970 by American photographer Saul Leiter, one of America's leading novelists. It combines and records a short story by Paul Auster, "If You Don't Swing, It Doesn't Matter." Thoughts on New York, the rhythm of the city, the people and places that live there. In this book, the photographs and stories of two artists who have painted New York so beautifully come together.
Translated by Motoyuki Shibata.
